Equipped with dual circuits, the H3EL series uses two switching safety outputs and a built-in safety self-check function. As a result, the system improves operational safety in industrial environments.
Anti-Interference Synchronization
The light barrier uses a line synchronization detection method. In addition, it requires a green synchronization line connection.
This design improves anti-interference capability and ensures stable detection in complex industrial environments.
Multiple detection types are available depending on the minimum detectable object size.
Therefore, the system can adapt to different industrial safety requirements.

Impact-resistant, thick-walled, and durable housing
The H3EL series features a thick-walled metal housing. This structure provides strong resistance against external impact, such as collisions with workpieces or accidental stepping.


Light Source & Optical System
The system uses an infrared LED light source. The peak emission wavelength is 850nm, and the signal is modulated for stable detection.
Optical Channel Configuration
The system supports 8–88 lamps, with increments of 2.
Optical channel spacing is 10mm. Protective height ranges from 70mm to 870mm.
Protective height is calculated as:
H = (N − 1) × 10mm, where N is the number of optical channels.
Detection Performance
Protective distance ranges from 0.1m to 2.5m.
The minimum detection object is an opaque object with a diameter of φ15mm or larger.
Output Configuration
The system supports NPN and PNP transistor open collector outputs (normally closed).
Maximum load current is 200mA, and applied voltage is 30V DC or less.
Residual voltage is 2V or less under high load conditions.
Synchronization & Response Time
Synchronization type is linear.
Response time follows the formula:
T = (N + 1) × 1.2 ms
For example, H3EL1610-NC has a response time of 20.4ms.
Electrical & Power Specifications
Operating voltage is DC 12–24V ±10% fluctuation.
Current consumption is less than 50mA, and power consumption is below 1.5W.
In addition, the system includes surge protection, overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection.
Environmental Conditions
Operating temperature ranges from -10°C to 55°C (non-condensing).
Operating humidity is below 85% at 20°C.

The window uses PMMA material with 940nm translucent brown optical filtering.
